  2. Cemetery Custodian

    Mount Patricia Cemetery Association (MPCA) is a not for profit organization and is currently seeking applications for the position of Custodian for our Cemetery on the North Shore Highway in Corner Brook.

    Hours of Work: various shifts, Sunday -Saturday, 8:00am to 8:00pm, 40hrs per week.

    The Custodian shall be responsible for general maintenance and grounds work and also overseeing and operating various pieces of equipment used in the excavation of burial sites, grounds work and snow clearing. The custodian is also responsible for the assignment of work for unionized workers.

    Qualifications: High School or equivalent combination of skills, training and experience.
    Valid drivers license and experienced in operating small construction equipment including Mini excavators and tractors.

    Closing date: April 15 2022.

    Salary: currently under review

  3. FALL CLEAN UP – SEPTEMBER 2021

    Mount Patricia Cemetery Staff Fall Cleanup will take place starting October 1, 2021 therefore we kindly ask for all personal items to be removed from gravesites No later than September 30th 2021.

    Mount Patricia Policy – Flowers and other personal items must be removed from graves by October 1. Any items remaining after this date that cause obstruction to the operations of the cemetery will be removed by the cemetery staff.

    Thank you to all who assist in the clean up and for everyone’s cooperation in keeping Mount Patricia grounds clean and tidy.

    Everyone MUST maintain physical distancing of 2 arms length (6 feet) between other people (not in your bubble) at all times.

  4. Columbarium Dedication Ceremony – Monday July 19, 2021 @ 2PM

  5. FLOWER SERVICES HELD AT MOUNT PATRICIA CEMETERY – 2021 Summer

    Flower services schedule for this summer 2021 (weather permitting) are as follows:

    Tuesday, July 27 @ 7PM – Roman Catholic Flower Service Mass
    Sunday, August 1 @ 2PM – Anglican Flower Service.
    Sunday, August 1 @ 4PM- United Flower Service.
    Sunday, August 22 @ 2Pm – Salvation Army Flower Service.
